Please join us on Thursday, March 13, 2014 for Yahara Lakes 101 featuring Greg Fries. Greg, a principal engineer at the City of Madison Engineering, will discuss the impacts of urban stormwater runoff as well as the challenges and opportunities of handling both flooding and water quality at a municipal level. Greg will provide information on: What are the primary pollutants in urban stormwater runoff? What is the City of Madison doing to reduce stormwater pollutants in runoff? What is the City of Madison doing to reduce flooding in the many flood prone areas in the City? What is the City required to do as part of our regulatory requirements and what are we doing to meet those requirements? We hope to see you Thursday morning!
