Yahara House Launches First Ever Crowdfunding Initiative: '45 Stories, 45 Days, Countless Lives Transformed.' On Monday, December 1, Yahara House launched its first ever crowdfunding effort.
Yahara House, a program of Journey Mental Health Center, Inc., is a Clubhouse program that offers adults living with mental illness in Dane County a path to recovery through relationships and work. The crowdfunding initiative is called '45 Stories, 45 Days, Countless Lives Transformed.' The goal of the initiative is to reduce the stigma of mental illness, break down the barriers for those seeking treatment, and to raise $45,000 between December 1st and January 15th.
During this period, 45 individuals connected to Yahara House will tell their stories about how Yahara House has helped transform their lives, a different story each day. You can watch these stories, read more about Yahara House and donate by going to www.razoo.com/story/45days.

Donations to the Friends of Yahara House go directly to help members defray the cost of medical and dental services, housing, utilities, clothing, groceries, and transportation, with virtually no administrative expense. You can also help members obtain nutritious daily meals, enjoy holiday meals, attend social events, have access to wellness activities, and go to trainings.
