  • Share:
Name: WIPHL's September Symposium on BSI
Date: September 17, 2013
Event Description:

Wisconsin Initiative to Promote Healthy Lifestyles (WIPHL) will be hosting a free, day-long symposium on behavioral screening and intervention (BSI) on Tuesday, September 17th at the Monona Terrace from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Join a wide-range of attendees, including our keynote speaker, John Torinus, Chairman of the Board of Serigraph, Inc. and author of “The Company that Solved Health Care;” to garner important discussion on BSI, including its successes, barriers to implementation, benefits to businesses and its future in the state of Wisconsin.

With 40% of deaths every year in the U.S. caused by preventable behavioral risks and disorders and the increasingly pressing need to reduce healthcare spending, the impetus to implement BSI has never been stronger. BSI helps reduce health care costs, increase bottom lines for our businesses, decrease drunk driving, lessen the burden on government services and deliver better health care.
