David Bornstein defines social entrepreneurs as “positive, transformative practitioners in the field of social innovation: people with new ideas to address major social problems who are relentless in the pursuit of their visions”.  Along with Forward Community Investments president Salli Martyniak, you’ll hear from a panel of passionate social entrepreneurs who, through their business organizations, have developed novel, sustainable solutions to social problems in our community and beyond. Panelists include Bob Curry, Founder and CEO, Dryhootch; Will Green, Founder/Executive Director, Mentoring Positives, Inc.; Tom Klein, Director of Sustainability, Redamte Café; and Edgar Hernandez, Innovation Engineer, American Family Insurance.
