The Edgewater Spa & Wellness Center is excited to announce its 7th Summer Weekend of Wellness on the Water. This will be the seventh Weekend Wellness on the Water Event Hosted on The Plaza, The Edgewater?s public waterfront space. The public space was implemented into the design of the property with the Madison community?s flourishing culture in mind. This Event is open to the public and will include a FREE Samapatti Yoga Class Saturday, August 22nd at 9am, hosted by Patti Coan. Participants will receive complimentary fitness passes to The Edgewater Spa & Wellness Center, which include access to 3 movement studios, a relaxation pool, steam room, full-service lockers and 3 hours of complimentary parking (value of $10). Participants will also be able to participate in giveaways of fitness memberships, gift cards, retail products and much more. Samapatti Yoga is rooted in the science and philosophy of Raja Yoga, the royal path. Following the Himalayan tradition, the practice explores the union of body, mind and spirit through the breath. Eight separate limbs are incorporated into the practice including ways of living, postures, breathing, relaxation, concentration and meditation. Leading with your internal compass, Patti invites you to join her to open and expand and to uncover and discover your uniqueness.
