Event Description:
The Edgewater Spa & Wellness Center is excited to announce its 4th Summer Weekend of Wellness on the Water. This will be the fourth Weekend Wellness on the Water Event Hosted on The Plaza, The Edgewater's public waterfront space. The public space was implemented into the design of the property with the Madison community's flourishing culture in mind.
This Event is open to the public and will include a FREE Yamuna Body Rolling Class Sunday, August 2nd at 9:30 a.m. Hosted by Mona Melms of MELT Studio. Pre-registration is encouraged - 608.535.8240 or spa@theedgewater.com.
Participants will receive complimentary fitness passes to The Edgewater Spa & Wellness Center, which includes access to 3 movement studios, a relaxation pool, steam room, full-service lockers and 3 hours of complimentary parking (value of $10). Participants will also be able to participate in giveaways of fitness memberships, gift cards, retail products and much more.
Yamuna Body Rolling - A series of routines using small balls. Unlike other exercises, YBR goes far beyond random movement and stretch. It allows you to work specific muscles in detail, to create suppleness in tight areas and optimize range of motion. A self-massage and core workout all in one!
Class is open to the public, and participants are encouraged to bring their own mats.
