It's hard to believe for many that our community has so many racial disparities and yet for others, mainly people of color, it is a daily part of life. Sara Alvarado has not always been a loud voice for racial justice but she sure has amped it up this past year as a business owner, a mother, a community member and a human being. She will tell her story, share information on the Race to Equity report and explore ways we can all - at the individual, organizational, and community level - make Madison a more sustainable place for everyone.
