Behind the Business with Murfie.com

About: Behind the Business is an exclusive Members Only event that features a Chamber member and CEO. The program showcases business accomplishments and members will learn about the business impact on the community and have an opportunity to get a tour of the facility.

This is the first day of Concerts on the Square so feel free to bring a blanket and mark your spot before the tour.

Parking: Parking is available at the Chamber office. If you want to park at the Chamber please email me your license plate number. A group will leave the Chamber Office at 3:30 p. m. and walk up to Murfie.com (on the square). There is also a ULI-owned surface lot at East Wash and Webster (enter on East Wash) as well as a city ram at Webster and East Mifflin.

Timeline:
3:30 - Meet at the Chamber

3:45 – 4:00 p.m. – Registration and light snacks
4:00 – 4:30 p.m. – Brief update with Matt Younkle and Q&A
4:30 – 5:00 p.m. – Short tour of facility


Attendees: Limited to approximately 30 people. 2 per company.


Business Overview:  Murfie, a dynamic marketplace of new and pre--loved music that provides music lovers with the ability to truly own the music they stream, download, buy and trade. Launched publicly in August 2011 and currently home to thousands of music collections, Murfie provides its members with unparalleled access to and ownership of their music in physical and digital formats.

Tour Details: The tour will consist of a walk-through of Murfie  


About Matt Younkle, President of Murfie Inc.:  Matt Younkle is a successful serial entrepreneur. He's most famous for inventing the TurboTap, a device that pours draft beer faster and with less waste that's used in pubs and stadiums worldwide. Prior to TurboTap, he developed technology to grow the first food in space, and he helped pioneer streaming audio and video on the web.
