Running an Art Business
Event Description:
This course is directed towards practicing artists and craftspeople who are taking the next step towards running a successful art-based business. A follow-up to "Organizing a Business," this course will expand on topics previously covered such as business plans, goal setting and taxation as well as introduce a checklist of general, best practices for setting up a business, like the proper forms to file, good bookkeepers, and tax accountants. The class will also learn about promoting and selling online, juried art shows, and networking for art-based businesses.
