Join us for a networking opportunity, and volunteer at Second Harvest Foodbank!

ARMA Madison Chapter is joining forces to help end hunger in Wisconsin.  We have chosen Second Harvest as our charity to support throughout the 2023-24 program year. Second Harvest supplies food to area food pantries. They receive food donations directly from large manufacturers/companies either free or far below retail price.

Itinerary:

• 11 AM – Lunch at Tully's II Food & Spirits, 6401 Monona Drive, Monona
• 12 PM – Depart for Second Harvest, 2802 Dairy Drive, Madison
• 12:15 PM – Check in at Second Harvest
• 12:30 to 3:30 PM – Volunteer at Second Harvest

Volunteers help sort, inspect, and package various food items that will be distributed to our communities.
 

Register by Thursday, March 7.

·      Volunteers must be 12 years or older to volunteer.

·      Volunteer projects are completed while standing and moving throughout the shift, though a break area is available for your use, as needed. Repetitive movements are common throughout the shift.

·      Closed-toed shoes and shirts with sleeves (no tank-tops) are required to volunteer.

·      All jewelry must be removed prior to the start of your shift, except for rings.

·      For your safety, do not use earbuds, MP3s, Bluetooth devices, etc. while volunteering.

·      Please arrive for lunch promptly by 11 AM, so we can make it to the check-in by 12:15 PM at Second Harvest.

·      Volunteers will be responsible for the cost of their lunch.
