Event Description:
MADISON, Wis. (July 26, 2011) — Madison Children’s Museum will close its doors to the public Saturday, August 6, to prepare the building for its fundraising gala, the second annual Wonder Ball, to be held in the museum that evening. Please help us spread the word by including this important announcement in the news.
WHAT: Madison Children’s Museum building and parking lot closed
WHEN: Saturday, August 6, all day
WHERE: 100 N. Hamilton Street, Madison, on the north corner of the Capitol Square
WHY: To prepare for Wonder Ball, an annual fundraising event
Wonder Ball features a silent auction, cocktails on the Rooftop Ramble, a formal dinner and program, and dancing. All Wonder Ball ticketholders will be welcomed into the private event beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Photographers and videographers are welcome to attend the Wonder Ball. Please contact Amy Mertz, Communications Coordinator, at the email and phone numbers listed above if you plan to send a media representative.
Additionally, the upper level of the museum’s parking lot will be closed August 1–8 for preparation and cleanup of the event.
