Event Description:
A "Mini Brat Fest" produced by Metcalfe's Market, presented by Johnsonville, and in cooperation with Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29 in the parking lot of Metcalfe's Market on Madison's west side adjacent to West Towne Mall. The event also includes "take your brat to work day." The public is encouraged to stop by and pick up brats for their coworkers.
The event is a fundraiser for the Wisconsin girl who was stabbed 19 times on May 31, 2014 by assailants who allegedly believed if they killed her, they would meet the fictional character "Slender Man." The family of the girl is facing mounting medical bills. All proceeds from the event will go to the family to help with mounting medical bills.

The event will include celebrity servers, brats, hotdogs, soda, ice cream, music, and an area where people can make purple hearts, (the little girl's favorite color and shape) with a message for her and her little brother.
