Bettsey Barhorst, current president of Madison College, will be retiring this summer.  In advance of Dr. Barhorst’s departure, the Madison College District Board has initiated a search for the college’s next president.  Representatives of key stakeholder groups have been appointed to serve on a Presidential Search and Screen Committee.  This Search and Screen Committee will serve in an advisory role to aid the Board of Trustees in determining which candidates will move forward to the interview phase.  Before that, however, public input is requested related to the current and future state of the college and the skills and attributes the new leader will need to position the college for success.  Gathering input from community members is an important first step in the selection process.  To gather this input, the ad hoc committee has scheduled community listening sessions throughout the district.  We hope you’ll be able to participate in one of the listening sessions:
