Event Description:
Bettsey Barhorst, current president of Madison College, will be retiring this summer. In advance of Dr. Barhorst’s departure, the Madison College District Board has initiated a search for the college’s next president. Representatives of key stakeholder groups have been appointed to serve on a Presidential Search and Screen Committee. This Search and Screen Committee will serve in an advisory role to aid the Board of Trustees in determining which candidates will move forward to the interview phase. Before that, however, public input is requested to identify which attributes the college’s next president should possess. We feel strongly that gathering input from community members is an important first step in the selection process. To gather this input, the ad hoc committee has scheduled community listening sessions throughout the district. We hope you'll be able to attend this important meeting.
