Madison Area Executive Networking Group
We provide structured and unstructured networking opportunities to executives and professionals in the $100K+ bracket, in a confidential setting, for sharing information and contacts that will help each person achieve their goals.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The Madison Area Executive Networking Meetings are exclusively for executives and senior professionals in career transition. We focus solely on helping you improve your networking skills, increase and maintain effective contacts, and bring efficiencies to the job search process.
This unique "peer-level" monthly networking forum has only one mission: To create a group dynamic and enable all members to help one another get connected to people that can support their transition to new career opportunities, including the decision makers in their target companies. In these productive networking sessions you will learn from experts on various subjects of interest to the job seeker. Then you will receive feedback, suggestions, and referrals that will improve the quality and productivity of your Job Search Campaign Strategy. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE OPEN AND STRUCTURED NETWORKING PORTIONS OF THE MEETING?
During "Open" networking you're free to mingle around the room and participate in table discussions. You can feel free to ask others for specific help, i.e. ideas about what companies to target, contacts within those companies, or assistance with any aspect of your search. Bring plenty of business cards to leave with those you meet. A small card with nothing more than your name and phone number and e-mail address is fine.
During "Structured" networking, you should be prepared with a two-minute presentation that tells the group:
* who you are, background
* your area(s) of expertise
* how you can help the group
* how the group can help you
* the kinds of problems you solve
* what your ideal career/job is
