Event Description:
On Wednesday, May 6th, 8pm at High Noon Saloon (701 E. Washington Street), come and get social with fellow Madisonians, and celebrate "Life with Beer" at Ignite Madison.
This Ignite event will be featuring ten people passionate about beer - brewing it, drinking it, serving it, delivering it or even a story about Wisconsin beer heritage! Their hops-fueled passions are sure to make the audience thirsty. When these passionate people share their stories at Ignite, they're backed by 20 slides (which auto-advance every 15 seconds) for a total presentation of only 5 minutes.
Even with a short time on-stage, they are sure to enlighten and inspire - and may drive the audience to saddle up to the bar for a beer a bit more often. Be sure not to miss it, as the evening will also include Madison legend DJ Mike Carlson, as well as pre-, mid- and post-speaker social/bar time, a fantastic raffle and in general, a great night! Additionally, this Ignite Madison is part of Craft Beer Week - a ten-day celebration held throughout the county as means to celebrate craft beer culture.
This could be our biggest Ignite yet, so don?t delay in purchasing your tickets! Ignite Madison is also a philanthropic event ? with all proceeds donated to River Alliance of Wisconsin. Partnering with River Alliance of Wisconsin, especially on the topic of beer, is important to Ignite as they work to partner with business owners whose very livelihood depends on clean and plentiful water, such as brewery owners. One such initiative, the Blue Water Business Consortium, which works to unite diverse water businesses under the common interest of healthy water, includes such breweries as Central Waters, Lake Louie and South Shore.
