Event Description:
You're invited to a Ladies Fashion Swap and Sip Happy Hour, from 5-9 p.m., Friday, January 17 at the new Moxy Hotel in downtown Madison.
We all have clothes in the closet that we don't wear anymore, for one reason or another. We could try selling them, or just giving them away. Or we can meet up, maybe have a drink, and swap them with other like-minded women.
We’re focusing here on business casual clothes, like pant suits, dresses, blouses and slacks, in good condition. No t-shirts, jeans or athletic gear, please.
Bring up to 15 items. And bring along a hanger for each item. Everything will be hung up by size on racks around the hotel.
Any left over clothing will be donated to a UW SuccessWorks Career Closet program to help young students dress for a new job. https://successworks.wisc.edu/career-closet/
It’ll be like a night of boutique shopping, but for free. And, you can enjoy a drink, snacks, raffle prizes and chats.
