Event Description:
Four of your favorite Madison-area breweries will be on hand to create TWELVE never-before-seen beers, right before your eyes. The breweries will visit Gorst Valley Hops (Mazomanie, WI) before the event to select and hand-harvest the hops, which will then be infused with the beers live at the Edgewater. Also, each brewery is preparing their own special “mystery” cask with herbal enhancements acquired from Gorst Valley. Our very own Chef Joe Heppe will also feature fresh ingredients in bites that pair perfectly with these fresh beers. A Pre-Great Taste Event at The Edgewater with Alt Brew, Gorst Valley, One Barrel Brewing Company, Vintage Brewing Co., and Wisconsin Brewing Company Beer and food sampling begins at 6 PM sharp on The Edgewater Plaza, and will then move to the Red Crown bar high above Lake Mendota for sunset views and for the tapping of the mystery casks.
