Event Description:

Eggs & Issues with Dane County Executive Joe Parisi
Earlier this year, Dane County Executive Joe Parisi introduced a new initiative called the Dane County Jobs & Prosperity Project, which set out to review the County’s current economic development strategies and determine if any additional resources could be utilized to promote job creation.

Join us on November 3 for an update from the County Executive on this project, and other news in County government.   The program will be held at the Madison Concourse from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

About the Dane County Jobs & Prosperity Project:
Dane County has a diverse economy and that gives us strength. From High Tech and Bio Tech, to a more than $3 billion dollar agriculture economy, to a thriving green economy, and a robust small business community where 86% of employers have 10 or fewer employees.
Working together, we can make our home even stronger.  That is the goal of the Dane County Jobs and Prosperity Project.

Six summits were held to collect ideas from everyone who has a stake in Dane County’s economic prosperity.  Not solely employers, but employees, locals officials, and members of the public.  These ideas will help shape initiatives in the 2012 Dane County Budget and beyond.
