Event Description:

In this one day conference, area experts will give you actionable items that you can take away and implement into your business immediately. Bring your laptop, tablet or mobile device to take full advantage of working along with the experts by creating videos, reviewing your website and social media accounts. This one day conference includes four 90 minute sessions, a keynote marketing speaker, lunch and refreshments.

Conference Schedule:

8:30am – 10:00am            Welcome and Session #1: It all begins with a foundation: how to develop your social media strategy, Spencer X Smith

In this session you will learn how to identify which social platforms make sense for your organization, describe how you should spend your time online, discuss the types of content you should be utilizing and demonstrate which analytics are important and which to ignore.

10:00am – 10:15am          Morning Break

10:15am – 11:45am          Session #2: YouTube Studio 101: Shooting & Editing Your First Video, Adrianne Machina

You’d be amazed how much you can do with a mobile phone, a computer and YouTube Studio. Bring a laptop, your@gmail address with login information, and a phone to this hands-on class and learn tricks to create amazingly professional videos on your own. We’ll begin with the basics of setting up your YouTube channel, and help you shoot and enhance your first YouTube Video. We’ll even show you how to keep the video hidden until you’re ready for the world to see it!

11:45am – 1:00pm            Lunch and Keynote: Tornado Marketing: Harness Your Authentic Power, Adrianne Machina

Are you using the same boring message based on copycat marketing?  Your business should be as unique as you are. Adrianne Machina will share how you can become braver and bolder with your brand by becoming more authentic, transparent and vulnerable. Learn how to capitalize on your quirks, and find clients who fuel your passion and fill your bank account.

1:15pm – 2:45pm             Session #3: SEO for Small Business, Matt Nelson

Getting to the top of Google’s search results can boost your customer base and fuel your small business dream! Google uses over 200 signals in their algorithm to rank websites that cover everything from page speed, to the quality of your content, to what platform you use for your website. Join us for a hands-on workshop that will help you identify high impact steps you can take to increase your rank on the search engines including running SEO audits on your website, optimizing descriptions and on-page content, finding the best keywords and the best way to set up your products and services pages.

3:00pm – 4:30pm             Session #4: Master Your Social Media in 20 Minutes a Day, Josh Klemons

This session will help you spend your limited social media time wisely, ensuring you reap the greatest rewards from this ever-growing part of business – in as few as 20 minutes a day! By having a plan, segmenting tasks and properly organizing your ideas, you can create and manage an interesting, engaging and valuable social media program without having to sacrifice all of your many other responsibilities.
