CultureCon Webinar: Collective Confidence - Creating Commitment in the Age of Uncertainty

Our world is pretty upside down at the moment. The uncertainty of global wars and incursions. The divisiveness that was on display in our current election cycle. Burnout, loneliness, and disengagement have become nearly universal truths in our workplaces. Natural disasters pop up like ads on our phones and create a level of damage and tragedy that is unprecedented. Our youth are among the most anxious and least prepared of any generation before them. This time will require more from us as individuals and as collectives–families, teams, groups, communities, countries, and companies.
This session will explore the concept of my next book, collective confidence. Collective confidence is the extraordinary, shared belief that a group, team, or collective holds in their capability to achieve greatness by working together. This isn't about unfounded optimism or toxic positivity. It's about a hard-won, reality-tested conviction that emerges from shared experiences, deliberate practice, and a host of other factors that can be influenced by leaders every day.
Key Takeaways
- Understand the concept of collective confidence.
- Understand how it can help combat anxiety, uncertainty, and disengagement we all feel.
- Gain 6 tips on how to create more collective confidence in your team or company.
