Event Description:
This course is directed towards practicing artists and craftspeople who are considering taking the next step from a hobby to an art-based business. The course will touch on basic aspects of organizing and running a successful art-based service or retail business. Some topics discussed will be basic business planning, goal setting, networking, promoting, advertising, sales techniques and, in addition, the students will learn some of the key elements for annual income tax considerations specifically for art-based business models.
