Bob Dylan & His Band with Mark Knopfler
After a wildly successful tour of Europe last year playing to standing-room-only crowds, Bob Dylan and his Band will tour North America this fall with special guest Mark Knopfler and Veterans Memorial Coliseum will be one of the stops on this exciting tour. Dylan’s recording career, spanning fifty years, has explored numerous distinct traditions in American song—from folk, blues and country to gospel, rock and roll, and rockabilly to English, Scottish, and Irish folk music, embracing even jazz and swing. Mark Knopfler is one of the most respected fingerstyle guitarists of the modern rock era, and was ranked 27th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. He was the Lead Guitarist, Vocalist and Songwriter for the great British Rock Band, Dire Straits, and has since gone on to have a spectacular solo career. With these two great musicians, this concert is sure to be a sellout, so get your tickets early!
