ABOUT JOURNEY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER Everyone has a dream. Journey Mental Health Center offers hope and a path to recovery to people facing serious mental health or substance use challenges. Just like you, everyone who walks through our doors has a dream. But their obstacles can be difficult to overcome.

We provide dozens of critically important community services, including:

* supporting families suffering the loss of a loved one from suicide,

* running the area's suicide prevention/crisis hotline 24/7, 365 days a year,

* saving hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars through cost-effective alternative services for people who would otherwise end up in the hospital or jail,

* working with families in crisis to keep children out of foster care,

* treating traumatized children in schools to help maintain effective learning environments, and

* offering culturally diverse programming for African-American, Hmong, Hispanic and Southeast Asian communities.

As a 501c3 nonprofit, many of the 13,000 people we serve have limited means to pay for our services. Due to public funding shortages, some face waiting lists or must be turned away. You can help change through your support of this important - and fun - event.
