An Evening to Remember: Three care partners share their dementia journey Each person and each family has their own unique dementia journey. Join us for An Evening to Remember on Friday, April 1 at The Edgewater in Madison to hear three care partners share their powerful stories; a couple over the age of 70, a young onset diagnosis with a young child at home, and an adult child sharing the journey with siblings living in different parts of the country. Learn how each family has navigated and created their own path to living with dementia. Share their struggles and their triumphs. Hear first hand how programs and support services provided by the Alliance have made a positive impact and know your dollars are creating change in your community. An Evening to Remember will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction featuring artwork by local artists who paid tribute to loved ones and caregivers through "forget-me-not" paintings. Following dinner Representative Dianne Hesselbein will share her work in the State Legislature as it relates to dementia and then our care partners will share their journey. Don't miss this special event and an opportunity to help people with dementia and their care partners live the best quality of life possible. All dollars raised stay in Wisconsin.
