3rd Annual KWW/CF A-Maizing Charity Corn Maze
The Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool Fund is proud to present the 3rd Annual A-Maizing Charity Corn Maze, bigger and better than ever with extra paths and more excitement in store for those up for the challenge! Located at the Old Sauk Trails Business Park on Madison’s west side, across from the Madison Marriott West Hotel and near Sprecher’s Pub and Restaurant, the 9 acre corn maze, shaped like the state of Wisconsin, was built with the help of the Gialamas Company, Inc., Sprecher’s Pub and Restaurant and many other generous sponsors. This particular corn maze is especially unique, because less than 2 percent of corn mazes in the nation are not-for-profit. Funds collected from the corn maze go to the KWW/CF to provide preventative services to help alleviate energy-related emergencies. Ninety-five cents of every dollar raised go directly to the fund’s mission of keeping the heat and power on for thousands of Wisconsin families in crisis.
The 3rd Annual A-Maizing Charity Corn Maze is open to scheduled groups beginning September 10th and to the general public beginning September 13th. Up until the maze closes, on November 4th, it is open Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm and Friday from noon to 9 pm. The maze will be open weekdays and evenings for private parties with an appointment. Call today to schedule your school, church, corporate birthday or youth group!
Tickets to the maze are priced at $8 for adults, $6 for children, and $5 a person for groups of 10 or more. Each group ticket includes a free pumpkin! Have a fall birthday or are looking for ideas for a company outing? Maze party packages can include personalized trivia, themed games throughout the maze, team building challenges, scavenger hunts and night mazes. There will also be face painting, pumpkin carving, arts and crafts and more! Catering from Sprecher’s Restaurant & Pub will be available upon request.
