35th Annual Monroe Street Festival
The 35th Annual Monroe Street Festival will be held on Saturday, September 8 from 10 to 5 in the 1500 - 3500 blocks of Monroe Street. The festival is an annual street sale and neighborhood celebration, with entertainment, children’s activities and a book sale at the Monroe Street Branch Library. This year’s Festival will feature a Health & Wellness Fair in the parking lot of 2702 Monroe Street. Activities are held rain or shine, and take place in the shops, on the sidewalks, on Harrison St., and in the parking lanes. For more information, see www.MonroeStreetFestival.com.
