The winners in the 2022 Handel Aria Competition

Event Description:

The 10th annual Handel Aria Competition will take place on Friday, August 18 at 7:30 at Grace Episcopal Church on the capitol square. Seven finalists have been selected from around the world to come to Madison to compete. These emerging artists will each perform two arias from Handel’s operas, oratorios and cantatas, accompanied by the Madison Bach Musicians under the direction of Trevor Stephenson.

Tickets are $25, general admission, and can be purchased via Eventbrite. Livestream tickets are also be available on a pay-as-you-can basis.
