About
Madison Development Corporation is a non-profit organization that owns and manages 349 workforce housing units in the Madison area and provides business loans to hard to finance businesses through our Business Lending Program, our MDC Venture Debt Fund and the Dane Workforce Housing Fund. MDC has lent over $20 million to Dane County business ventures since 1977. Lending clients include TomoTherapy, PerBlue Consulting, AstoCT, Phoenix Nuclear, Invenra, Mirus, Stemina Biomarker, Nordic Consulting, Willy St. Co-Op and Foster Funeral Homes. These companies helped create 4,000+ jobs; most paying at least twice the federal minimum wage.
